Kathmandu: The Rashtriya Swatantra Party ed by Rabi Lamichhane has decided not to participate in the provincial assembly elections to be held on November 19.

President Lamichhane, releasing a video on Facebook on Wednesday, said that they will not take participate on the provincial assembly after the participants in the meetings held in various provinces said that the current structure of the province is too expensive and will help to increase corruption.

Lamichhane has also said that his party’s opinion is that the Chief Minister should be directly elected by abolishing the provincial assembly.
