Kathmandu: Miss Nepal Prinkyarani Joshi has clinched a coveted spot in the top 10 of the ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ segment at the ongoing Miss World competition in India. Following Monday’s semifinals, Nepal has asserted its presence in the competition.

Alongside Nepal, Botswana, Brazil, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, and Ukraine have also secured spots in the top 10. Earlier, Prinkya had qualified in the top 25 in the ‘Head-to-Head Challenge.’

The final event is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on Saturday, where winners from all segments will be announced. Prinkya Joshi, Miss Nepal World 2022, has previously contributed to the development of the Aparadangi village in Chitwan by electrifying the central power transmission line. Additionally, she has undertaken initiatives ranging from the renovation of local schools to promoting local entrepreneurship.”
