Kathmandu: One person has died in Makalu Rural Municipality-2 Makalu Base Camp (base camp) of Sankhuwasabha district.

40-year-old Tularam Bista of Makalu Rural Municipality-2 Seduwa died on Friday after falling into the lake.

Bista was on his way to Makalu base camp, fell ill on Friday due to exposure to the lake.

Bista was working as a porter for the foreign team.
