Kathmandu: The EU in Nepal has announced the 12th edition of the Nepal European Union film Festival (NEUFF) with eight films from Europe and eight short ones from Nepal.

The festival begins from far west Nepal. The screenings will take place from 28 April to 30 April in the hall of the Far-Western University in Mahendranagar.

It will then travel to Surkhet where the screenings will take place from 3rd to 5th May with the final screenings taking place at the Nepal Film Development Hall in Chabahil from 12 to 15 May.

This year being the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the theme for this year’s NEUFF ‘Celebrating Human Rights for all’.

Leading Nepali actress, Miruna Magar is the brand ambassador for this year’s festival.
