Kathmandu: Only 565 people have passed the engineer license exam.

On Tuesday, the Engineering Council held a press conference and informed about the results.

Out of the 1,981 students who participated in the exam, only 565 passed the exam.

For the first time, the Engineering Council has started taking the license examination for the registration of engineer professionals.

The council said that since they did not pass the exam, they will not get the council’s certificate and they will not be able to work as engineers in Nepal.

The council used to give licenses without an exam on the basis of an engineering pass certificate from the university. But now the rule has come into effect to work in any engineering-related business only after passing the council’s exam and getting permission.
