Kathmandu: The government of Nepal has designated Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) for flights from Australia to Nepal.

Four years after the Air Service Agreement was signed between Nepal and Australia in 2019, the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Nepal has designated Nepal Airlines as the official airline for flights to Australia.

Even though Nepal Airlines started flights from Kathmandu to Canberra to rescue Nepalis during the covid epidemic, Nepal Airlines has not been able to operate any regular flights officially.

However, now after completing some official processes NAC will be operating regular flights to Australia.
