Kathmandu: For the first time, Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) has started to take the license exam to register as an engineer.

In the first exam conducted by the council, 2006 engineers who have passed engineering are participating to get the license of engineer.

As per NEC 20 categories of engineering are being examined. In order to work as an engineer, one should pass the exam conducted by the Engineering Council.
