Kathmandu: The police have arrested 5 people on the charge of giving Nepali citizenship to Tibetan refugees.

Police arrested Krishna Bahadur Katwal of Jhapa Kachankawal, Newlkesh Shrestha of Babarmahal, Hiralal Sivakoti of Morang Sunder Haraincha, Lopsang Thinle of Tanahun Shuklagandaki and Vijay Lama of Lalitpur Godavari from Babarmahal on Monday.

According to Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, this group has already granted Nepali citizenship to 10 Tibetans.
