Sixth NIF to begins from tomorrow in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The sixth edition of Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) is starting from Thursday in Kathmandu.

The festival will begin with the inauguration by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. ‘Chari’ directed by Corin Sharma will be premiered as the opening film.

In a press conference held on Wednesday, it was informed that 95 films from 35 countries will participate in the festival competition.

The festival, which will be held under the slogan ‘Celebration of stories from around the world’, will be held from March 15 to 19 in four halls under the QFX chain and the auditorium of the Tourism Board.

The film will be screened at QFX’s Civil Mall, Chhaya Centre, Labim Mall and Bhatbhateni in Bhaktapur.

The organizer has informed that the ticket booking is open in the movie hall and ticket booking can be done through the Khalti app as well.
