Kathmandu: District Court, Nawalpur has acquitted actor Paul Shah in the rape case. But in the case of child sexual abuse, Two and a half years of imprisonment and a fine of 25,000 rupees has been announced.

Last March, actor Shah was accused of raping a minor singer. Based on the complaint of the victim’s father, the police proceeded with the case. They demanded a prison sentence of 12 to 14 years.

The victim singer changed her statement and stated in the district court that she was not raped, but, the incident was happend in understanding of both of them.
