Kathmandu: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has claimed that the country will be self-relaint on vegetable production.

Adressing the Bhimdutta Pant Memorial Day program on Tuesday he mentioned that the budget brought by the government is focused on agricultural production and urged everyone to work in the field of production.

Minister Sharma said that the budget provides for self-reliance in agriculture and import substitution through industrial production.

He said that the country’s economy can be strengthened only by promoting agricultural sector.
