Kathmandu: The Nepali national team will play two friendly matches against Afghanistan.

According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), a friendly match between Nepal and Afghanistan will be played in Doha, Qatar on May 23 and 24.
Nepal, which is preparing for the Asian Cup football selection, is going to play friendly football match before the selection.

Nepal is in Group A along with Kuwait, Indonesia and Jordan for the selection in June. The top teams from each group and the best second team from each group will be selected for next year’s Asian Cup.
