Kathmandu: Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan reached in France to attend the conference of mayors has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to place the statue of the famous French poet somewhere in the Lalitpur Metropolitan City and to place the statue of Satya Mohan Joshi, a 102-year-old literary man in a city of France.

The metropolis has stated that the installation of statues and statues of personalities who have contributed in the field of literature and culture will help in increasing kinship and intimacy.

Mayor Maharjan is in France to attend a conference of mayors of various French cities as the chief guest. Mayor Maharjan will coordinate the establishment of brotherhood between more than 25 local levels in Nepal and various local levels in France.
