382 houses inundated in Kathmandu flood

Kathmandu: Three hundred and eighty-two houses have been inundated in Kathmandu due to floods. Police have rescued 138 people till afternoon from the flood.

The riverside settlements have been inundated due to the rains since last night. The residents of the settlement were rescued by the police and taken to a safe place.

According to Kathmandu Police, Balkhu’s vegetable market, Kuleshwor’s housing area, Koteshwor’s Narephant area, Balaju’s Nepaltar’s lower area, Shankhamul Park and Kalimati’s vegetable market area have been inundated.

No casualties were reported so far.
