National Innovation Center hands over 50 ventilators to govt

Kathmandu: The National Innovation Center has handed over 50 ventilators to the government. The ventilator provided by Gradion Health Systems USA was brought to Nepal in collaboration with the National Innovation Center and the US-Nepal Medical Foundation and handed over to the government on Monday.

President of the US-Nepal Medical Foundation Dr. Bhupendra Basnet and Hari Kumar Silwal, board member of the National Innovation Center, handed over the ventilator to Health and Population Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang.

The ventilator provided as assistance will be given to nine different hospitals in Nepal through the Ministry of Health. On Monday, 10 ventilators were handed over to Bir Hospital and five to Civil Hospital.
