Gauchan wins Nepal Ice Golf title

Kathmandu: Rajendra Gauchan has clinched the title of the Nepal Ice Golf Tournament held at CG Golf Course at Dumkauli in East Nawalparasi.

He won the golf tournament held on Saturday with 39 points. Similarly, Raju Thakali has bagged the title of runner-up. He scored 37 points.

Similarly, the gross winner became Finchoondi Lama. Kalu Ghale won the title of Longest Drive, Pemba Sherpa won the title of Most Words and Rabindra Tiwari won the title of Closest to the Man.

There were 24 players participating in the Nepal Ice Golf Tournament. Medals and certificates were distributed to the title winners and other players, said Basant Gurung, umpire of the CG Golf Tournament.

There is a well-equipped golf course within the Chaudhary Industrial Village at Dumkauli in East Nawalparasi under Gandaki Province. Golfers from home and abroad come here every year to play.
