Nepse crossed 2300 points, an increase of 28 points on Sunday

Kathmandu: The stock market has crossed 2300 points. On Sunday, the NEPSE index rose by 28.46 points to 2315 points. This is the highest point ever.

Shares of all groups except hydropower rose on Sunday. Shares of trade group rose by 232 points, development bank group by 110 points, manufacturing group by 49 points, micro finance by 115 points, others by 60 points, finance by 25 points, life insurance by 221 points and non-life insurance group by 78 points.

A total of 15.35 million shares of 208 companies were traded at Rs 6.37 billion on Sunday. The highest number of shares of Nepal Telecom worth Rs 581 million has been bought and sold.

Shares of Salt Trading Corporation gained 10 percent on Sunday, while those of 15 companies gained more than nine percent.

Despite the rise in the overall market, United Finance’s shareholders have lost about 6 percent.
