Gold prices reach new high in Nepal
Kathmandu: Gold prices in the domestic market soared to a new record today, with fine gold trading at Rs 168,500 per tola. This marks an increase of Rs 1,500 from Monday’s rate of Rs 167,000 per tola, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Following a previous high of Rs 167,400 per tola on Sunday, gold experienced a brief decline of Rs 400 per tola on Monday before rebounding to achieve this new peak. Silver prices also saw an uptick, climbing by Rs 40 per tola to reach Rs 2,105, up from Rs 2,065 on Monday.
The rise in both gold and silver prices reflects strong momentum, in line with global market trends observed during the Nepali month of Kartik.
