Kathmandu: Sankata Club has won the title of Aaha Rara Gold Cup held in Pokhara this year. Sankata won the title by defeating Bhutanese Youth Sports of America 3-2 in the match.

After the scheduled 90-minute match ended in a 2-2 draw, the match went into extra time. Sunil Bal scored in the 117th minute of extra time, Sankata won the title.

Sankata, the winner of the competition, received Rs. 12 lakhs and Bhutanese Youth Sports, who came second, received Rs. 6 lakhs.
